Burolit F-37/Burolit F-44 is an aqueous mixture of surfactants and fatty acids.

It is designed to reduce the surface tension of all water-based mud systems and reduce sticking tendency of water-sensitive clay formations. It is widely used in drilling and can be added to any water-based fluid.

Primarily, it is used for drilling upper intervals to minimize bit and bottom hole assembly (BHA) balling and to reduce surface tension. Burolit improves the rate of penetration and enhances the manageability of the BHA. The freezing point of the substance is 23°F (-5°С).

A special formula of Burolit F-44 has been developed for arctic conditions.
Minimizes bit and BHA balling.

Improves wetting properties and reduces the sticking of shale cuttings to the tool.

Promotes increased penetration rate.

Effective in all water-base mud.
Appearance
Blue-colored liquid

Density
0.90–1.05

Hydrogen value (pН)
6.0–8.5
Standard concentration depending on drilling conditions 0.3−1.0 kg/m3.

In very sticky clays, it is recommended to increase the concentration to 11−18 kg/m3.

During the drilling process, it is recommended to add 5−10 liters of reagent directly into the drill pipes before extension.
Metal barrels 200 liters.

Upon agreement with the customer, can be supplied in alternative packaging.
